Rezim Syiah Assad Butuh 4 Tahun Hancurkan Aleppo yang Dibangun Sejak 4000 Tahun Lalu

aleppo-kini-kami-akan-kembali-2Eramuslim – Cuma butuh waktu 4 tahun lamanya bagi tentara rezim Syiah Assad dan sekutunya untuk menghancurkan kota Aleppo yang telah dibangun sejak 4 ribu tahun yang lalu itulah ungkapan yang tepat melihat gambaran kota Aleppo saat ini.

Pernyataan ini diungkapkan Penasihat Khusus utusan PBB untuk Suriah, Jan Egeland, dalam konferensi persnya pada hari Kamis (15/12) kemarin menanggai genosida dan penghancuran massal di kota Aleppo, Suriah.

Nama Aleppo berasal dari kata “Halaba” (bahasa Amori) yang memiliki arti besi atau tembaga, yaitu sumber daya alam utama kota pada masa itu. Sedangkan dalam bahasa Aram,Halaba berarti putih, mengacu pada warna tanah dan marmer yang melimpah di sana.

Selain terkenal dengan Masjid Umayyah yang telah berusia ribuan tahun, Aleppo memiliki Benteng Citadel berbentuk elips dengan panjang sekitar 450 meter dan lebar 325 meter dengan ketinggian 50 meter dari kaki bukit dan berada di pusat kota. (Skynewsarab/Alarabiya/Republika/Ram)
